Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2026

These terms apply to your use of the Team Tieu website and your purchase of the 6-Week Transformation. By booking or using the site, you agree to them. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy.

1. Who we are

Team Tieu runs the 6-Week Transformation Muay Thai programme, training out of Gymbox Farringdon at 12a Leather Ln, London EC1N 7SS. You can reach us at support@teamtieu.co.uk.

2. The programme

The 6-Week Transformation is a six-week Muay Thai training programme run in small cohorts at Gymbox Farringdon. Session days and times are shown on our website and confirmed when you book. We may make reasonable changes to the schedule, coaches or venue where necessary, and will let you know if we do.

3. Eligibility

You must be 18 or over to book and take part in the 6-Week Transformation.

4. Booking and payment

When you book:

  • You can reserve your place with a £100 deposit, or pay in full at £299.

  • The £100 deposit counts towards the £299 total — it is not an extra charge.

  • Payments are taken securely through Stripe.

  • If you reserve with a deposit, the remaining £199 balance is paid in person at your first session.

  • All prices are in GBP and include any taxes that apply.

  • Your place is confirmed once we receive your deposit or full payment. Places are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

5. Your 14-day right to cancel

Because you book online, you have a cooling-off period:

  • You have 14 days from the day you book to change your mind and receive a full refund, as long as the programme has not started.

  • If you ask us to start within those 14 days and then cancel during the cooling-off period after training has begun, you’ll pay only for the part of the programme already delivered and we’ll refund the rest (a proportionate refund — see section 6).

  • To cancel within the cooling-off period, email support@teamtieu.co.uk. Refunds are made to your original payment method.

6. Cancellations and refunds

After the 14-day cooling-off period:

  • The £100 deposit is non-refundable, as it reserves your place in a limited cohort.

  • Once the programme has started, fees are non-refundable and we do not refund sessions you choose not to attend.

  • Exceptional circumstances: if you genuinely cannot take part due to injury, illness or pregnancy, contact us with supporting medical documentation. We consider these case by case, at our discretion, and may move your place to a later cohort or offer a partial refund where appropriate. We aim to be strict but fair.

  • If we cancel or reschedule a cohort (for example, if minimum numbers aren’t met or for reasons beyond our control) and cannot offer a suitable alternative, we will refund fees paid for the part not delivered.

7. Health and safety

Muay Thai is a contact sport and training is physically demanding. You take part at your own risk. Before training:

  • You must complete our health questionnaire and waiver, and tell us about any injury, medical condition or pregnancy that may affect you. Keep this accurate and tell us if anything changes.

  • Our coaches are not medical professionals and cannot assess whether you are fit to train. If you are unsure, seek medical advice first.

  • You must follow our coaches’ instructions at all times and wear the protective equipment we require, such as gloves, shin pads and a gum shield. Pad work and any sparring take place only under coach supervision.

8. At the venue

Training takes place at Gymbox Farringdon, so while you are there you must also follow Gymbox’s own club rules and staff instructions. Your belongings are your responsibility — please use the lockers provided. Neither Team Tieu nor the venue is responsible for loss, theft or damage to personal property, except where caused by our negligence.

9. Conduct

We keep a safe, focused training environment. Threatening, abusive or unsafe behaviour, or repeated breaches of these terms or the venue rules, may result in removal from the programme without a refund.

10. Photography and media

We sometimes photograph or film sessions for Team Tieu marketing, including our website and social media. By taking part you agree that we may use images or footage you appear in. If you would prefer not to appear, just let a coach know and we will exclude you.

11. Our liability

We provide the programme with reasonable care and skill.

  • Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

  • Otherwise, and so far as the law allows, we are not liable for loss or injury arising from your failure to follow guidance, from the inherent risks of physical training, or for any indirect or consequential loss.

12. Changes to the programme or these terms

We may update these terms or the programme from time to time. The version that applies to your booking is the one published when you book, and we will let you know about significant changes that affect a booking you have already made.

13. Intellectual property

All content on this website belongs to Team Tieu or our licensors, and may not be copied or reused without our permission.

14. General

If any part of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest will continue to apply. A person who is not a party to these terms has no right to enforce them under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the courts of England and Wales.

16. Complaints and contact

If you have a question or a complaint about these terms or the programme, email support@teamtieu.co.uk.
